Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Product Program Manager (Remote, US) to lead cross-functional technical programs from concept to completion. You will drive project plans, budgets, risk management, and stakeholder communications across engineering and product teams.

The role requires 5+ years of TPM experience, a strong technical background in software or systems engineering, and proficiency in Agile/Scrum/Kanban.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role
• Strong technical background in software development, systems engineering, or related fields
• Excellent project management skills with track record of on-time, on-budget delivery
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban; cloud technologies a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple technical programs and projects to ensure timely delivery
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, resources, risks and milestones
• Collaborate with engineering and product management to define requirements and deliverables
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful outcomes
• Communicate status and challenges to stakeholders, including senior management
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement of PM processes
• Manage budgets and track expenses for cost-effective resource use
• Provide technical guidance to project teams for informed decision-making
• Coordinate vendor contributions to align with goals and timelines
