Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Product Program Manager to lead cross-functional, technically demanding programs in a remote US setting. You will drive project delivery from concept through completion, partner with engineering and product teams, manage budgets, and influence strategic direction.

The role requires 5+ years as a TPM or related role, strong technical background, and experience with cloud technologies and SDLC/DevOps. PMP/PgMP are a plus, and UK/US markets experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, systems engineering, or related fields.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
• Certifications such as PMP/PgMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple technical programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, schedule, resources, risks, and milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful outcomes.
• Communicate project status and challenges to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and transparency, driving continuous improvement in PM processes.
• Manage budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives and priorities.
