Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead major technical programs for the U.S. DoD and related national security customers.

You will supervise cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle, ensure compliance with contracts, and coordinate with clients and vendors to deliver high-quality results from design to testing. This senior role requires a TS/SCI clearance and a bachelor’s or higher degree with extensive experience, including leadership at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale technical projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management from planning through evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise professionals and oversee multiple workstreams.
• Skilled in resource management, risk mitigation, and vendor coordination.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities for client interfacing and internal collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of large or complex technical projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop objectives, work plans, timelines, estimates, and resource allocations.
• Supervise experienced professionals across technical disciplines and departments.
• Direct design, development, implementation and testing activities for assigned projects.
• Lead meetings, monitor progress, and resolve risks to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate vendor tasks and ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and foster collaboration and innovation.
• Conduct performance evaluations and enforce adherence to policies.
• Interface with stakeholders and end users to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
• Lead or contribute to proposals and identify growth opportunities.
