Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Product Manager to work remotely with clients and internal teams. You will translate business requirements into software solutions, manage projects, and stay current with Sage Intacct modules to guide implementation success.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of consulting/BA experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to partner with developers, project managers, and customers to achieve high customer satisfaction and adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, MIS or computer science.
• 5+ years' experience consulting and implementing Sage Intacct, ERP/financial applications or other SaaS solutions.
• Consulting or business analyst experience communicating with customers or end users and technical development staff on system issues, modifications, and new software deployment.
• Ability to deploy advanced business analytics skills solving complex problems and interpreting customer requirements into deliverable solutions.
• Programming/coding experience a nice-to-have for translating business requirements into technical solutions and being able to 'speak the language' of technology.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, macros, etc.) is a nice-to-have for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data.
• Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Design and support development of software solutions resulting in high customer satisfaction and adoption.
• Gather requirements with key client stakeholders and design solutions with development teams.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Sage Intacct modules and latest features.
• Define and support rollout of integrated solutions based on customer business processes.
• Develop and communicate project plans for on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Conduct training for customer end-users and relate system functionality to business requirements.
• Document customer requirements into software solutions and business processes.
• Escalate and resolve customer technical issues related to system implementations.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing and Customer Success for project execution.
• Deliver clear, concise communications to align with customer goals.
