Job summary

Tech9 is seeking a hands-on Technical Product Manager to lead digital product initiatives for a veterinary health organization. You will write user stories, own the backlog, and coordinate across engineering, design, product, and business teams to translate stakeholder needs into actionable work for engineering.

You’ll focus on end-to-end product delivery, APIs and integrations, and real-world usage to drive improvements. Strong communication and healthcare‑industry experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related technical field.
• 4+ years as Technical Product Manager, PO, or similar role.
• Hands-on with writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience owning and prioritizing a product backlog.
• Understand SDLC and API/system integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Familiar with Jira, Asana or similar PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of product initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Own backlog prioritization based on value, user needs, and dependencies.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and product docs.
• Observe real-world product usage and translate insights into work for engineering.
• Coordinate across engineering, design, product, and business teams.
• Support discovery, roadmap, and release planning for products.
• Evaluate technical solutions and API integrations to support objectives.
• Manage delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements.
