Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer for the Data Center Networking (Apstra) team. This remote role supports Apstra and bridges Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and the Field to enable customers and partners with compelling technical content and live demonstrations.

You will create technical narratives, deliver demonstrations, and help position and adopt Apstra across customer engagements, field teams, and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/ Master's/Ph.D. in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 8+ years in technical marketing eng, systems engineering, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of modern data center networking (IP fabrics, spine-leaf, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN).
• Hands-on network automation with APIs, Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to customers and field teams.
• Ability to build engaging product demos showing customer value.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical enablement content, including presentations, solution guides, white papers, workshops, labs, and training materials.
• Design, build, and maintain product demonstrations that showcase customer challenges, technical capabilities, and business outcomes.
• Support field sales, systems engineering, and channel teams by providing technical expertise and creating customer-facing content.
• Deliver presentations at customer meetings, internal enablement sessions, partner events, and industry conferences.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and regional field organizations to support product launches and strategic initiatives.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends in data center networking, automation, AI, and cloud infrastructure.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for technical and executive audiences.
