Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer for Data Center Networking (Apstra). This remote role supports Apstra across the U.S., bridging Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and the Field to create compelling technical content and demonstrations.

You will deliver customer-facing content, enable field teams, and help position and adopt Apstra, leveraging deep networking knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 8+ years in Technical Marketing Eng., Systems Eng., or related customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of data center networking: IP Fabrics, Spine-Leaf, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN.
• Hands-on network automation with APIs, Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Experience presenting complex solutions to customers and field teams.
• Ability to build engaging product demonstrations with clear customer value.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical enablement content: presentations, guides, white papers, labs.
• Design and maintain product demos showing customer challenges and outcomes.
• Support field sales and channel teams with technical content.
• Deliver presentations at customer meetings, events, and internal sessions.
• Collaborate with PM, Engineering, Marketing, and regional fields for launches.
• Stay current on data center networking, automation, AI, and cloud trends.
• Translate technical concepts into clear messaging for diverse audiences.
