Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) for Data Center Networking with Apstra, remote anywhere in the U.S. You will bridge engineering, product management, marketing, and the field to create technical content, develop demos, and enable customers, partners, and field teams to position Apstra effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in Technical Marketing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Strong knowledge of modern data center networking technologies: IP Fabrics, Spine-Leaf, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN.
• Hands‑on experience with network automation using APIs, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar frameworks.
• Experience presenting complex technical solutions to customers, partners, or field organizations.
• Proven ability to build engaging product demonstrations that clearly communicate customer value.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical enablement content, including presentations, solution guides, white papers, workshops, labs, and training materials.
• Design, build, and maintain product demonstrations that showcase customer challenges, technical capabilities, and business outcomes.
• Support field sales, systems engineering, and channel teams by providing technical expertise and creating customer-facing content.
• Deliver presentations at customer meetings, internal enablement sessions, partner events, and industry conferences.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and regional field organizations to support product launches and strategic initiatives.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends in data center networking, automation, AI, and cloud infrastructure.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for technical and executive audiences.
