Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking an experienced Technical Director for Industrial Hygiene and Engineering Services. This remote role, with up to 35% travel domestically and internationally, will serve as a senior technical advisor, developing IH and safety engineering strategies to proactively identify and control workplace hazards across large accounts.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, safety sciences, math, engineering or related disciplines.
• Advanced Degree and/or CIH/CPE/CSP preferred.
• 10+ years of directly related consulting experience in risk control, industrial hygiene or progressive safety/health field.
• Advanced knowledge in service planning, risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication to develop relationships with customers, peers, and industry contacts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different locations and influence executive level.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience with industrial hygiene sampling methods/equipment and regulatory exposure limits.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary point of contact for IH and safety engineering initiatives, providing strategic guidance.
• Develop and implement IH and safety engineering strategies to reduce hazards.
• Lead hazard identification, exposure assessment, and risk prioritization across operations.
• Evaluate controls and recommend solutions aligned with standards.
• Assess material handling systems, robotics, and automation for compliance with ANSI/ISO safety standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks from robotic/automated systems including electrical hazards and LOTO.
• Conduct onsite evaluations and develop actionable recommendations to reduce exposures.
• Support modernization and capital projects with on-site IH/safety integration.
• Develop clear reports and executive-ready deliverables for stakeholders.
• Develop and track KPIs to demonstrate impact and drive improvement.
• Provide coaching and technical training to colleagues and customer partners.
• Contribute to development of tools, procedures, and best practices.
• Engage in professional leadership and thought leadership activities.
