Job summary

Toloka AI is seeking a Technical Project Lead to join our Delivery team and lead complex on-site and hybrid data collection programs for some of the world’s leading AI companies.

You will bridge technical solution design, project delivery, data operations, and client management, translating objectives into scalable data collection solutions and guiding cross-functional teams through implementation and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex technical or data-driven projects from scoping through implementation and delivery.
• Ability to translate ambiguous client requirements into practical solutions and executable workflows.
• Experience with data collection, data operations, data processing or other technically complex operational environments.
• Strong understanding of data structures, metadata, processing workflows and quality-control approaches.
• Experience coordinating multiple cross-functional teams and workstreams concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical scoping of new project opportunities, understanding client objectives and deliverables.
• Translate client requirements into practical solution architectures and scalable workflows for complex data collection projects.
• Lead projects end-to-end, ensuring data quality, delivery timelines and scope are managed.
• Design and optimize data collection workflows, including collection protocols, processing steps and quality controls.
• Develop guidelines, protocols and technical documentation; lead training for diverse project participants.
• Own metadata schemas and data processing requirements to ensure consistent data.
• Assess equipment and on-site tooling needs for successful execution.
• Lead LLM-based QA and automation initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
