Job summary

Fox Point Recruitment LLC seeks a Technical Accounting Senior Manager to act as a technical accounting authority, researching and interpreting U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.

You will develop well-supported conclusions and collaborate with finance, legal, tax, treasury, compensation, and business teams. The role also contributes to external reporting, accounting policy development, SOX compliance, audit coordination, and implementing significant accounting changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA license.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Public-company accounting experience; SOX controls and external audit.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex, non-routine transactions and prepare technical accounting memos.
• Monitor new accounting standards, ASUs, SEC guidance, and developments.
• Lead assessment and implementation of significant accounting changes.
• Provide technical accounting guidance across revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, EPS, debt, equity, investments, and business combinations.
• Review and approve Chart of Accounts changes for accurate financial presentation.
• Support Form 10-Q/10-K workpapers with technical accounting detail.
• Manage designated SOX controls and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors on walkthroughs and inquiries.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal on accounting implications of new transactions.
• Use Big 4 resources and research tools to improve processes.
