Job summary

Staffingine LLC seeks a Technical Accounting Senior Manager in San Jose, CA for a full-time role. You will guide technical accounting analyses, monitor ASUs/SEC guidance, and own SOX controls while coordinating with external auditors and business teams.

Responsibilities include leading memo creation on complex transactions, reviewing Chart of Accounts mappings, and supporting Form 10-Q/10-K workpapers with a focus on EPS, stock-based compensation, and other non-routine items.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate accounting impact of non-recurring transactions; document conclusions in technical memos.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements (ASUs) and SEC guidance; maintain accounting policies; lead implementation.
• Prepare technical accounting analyses across revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, EPS, debt, investments.
• Serve as technical accounting reviewer in Chart of Accounts creation and maintenance; ensure mappings align with standards.
• Support Form 10-Q/10-K workpapers, including EPS and stock-based compensation for non-routine items.
• Own and operate key SOX controls; coordinate with external auditors on walkthroughs and documentation.
• Forecast stock-based compensation expenses with the compensation team.
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and business teams to evaluate implications of new transactions.

Job Description:

• Research and evaluate the accounting impact of new or non-recurring transactions that are significant and may have a material impact to the Company's financial statements, and document conclusions in well-supported technical accounting memos reviewed by the Head of Financial Reporting and SOX PMO.
• Monitor and assess new and emerging accounting pronouncements (ASUs) and SEC guidance, maintain the Company's accounting policies, and lead implementation of significant changes; subscribe to and leverage Big 4 accounting research tools and training.
• Prepare technical accounting analyses and memo across areas such as revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, EPS, debt, equity, investments and others.
• Serve as the technical accounting reviewer/approver in the Chart of Accounts creation and maintenance process, verifying that account mappings and financial statement alignments are accurate and adhere to internal standards.
• Support the preparation and review of workpapers underlying the Form 10-Q/10-K, including areas such as EPS, stock-based compensation, and other non-routine transactions.
• Own and operate key SOX controls within your areas, coordinate with external auditors on walkthroughs and requests, and maintain thorough, audit-ready documentation.
• Partner with the compensation team to forecast stock-based compensation expenses.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and business teams to evaluate the accounting and reporting implications of new transactions, and strategic initiatives
