Job summary

Evergreen Services Group is a San Francisco-based holding company that acquires and operates B2B services companies across North America. We are seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to own acquisition accounting and onboarding for new deals, reviewing opening balance sheets, cash-to-GAAP transitions, and complex standalone positions for the consolidated group.

You will partner with the Assistant Controller, Grove accounting teams, valuation partners, and external auditors as the go-to

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience.
Extensive experience preparing and reviewing ASC 805 materials and other complex GAAP matters (ASC 606, 350, 810, 718).
CPA required; PE-backed / multi-entity exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead ASC 805 opening balance sheet reviews and purchase price allocations for acquisitions.
Coordinate with valuation providers and review fair value analyses for GAAP consistency.
Own and improve onboarding program for new operating companies and create scalable playbooks.
