Job summary

Indeed is seeking an experienced IT Core AI Tech Lead to serve as the senior escalation point for Google Workspace with Gemini, Slack, and Glean. You will guide cross-team efforts to deploy secure, reliable AI and automation, from design through production and ongoing support.

You will balance platform operations with delivery, investigate incidents, and implement sustainable governance. Strong communication and deep enterprise AI experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or 5+ years with a Bachelor's; or 3 years with a Master's or PhD without experience.
• Direct experience administering enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, or enterprise AI platforms.
• Strong systems administration across configuration, testing, release management, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience building or maintaining AI capabilities on enterprise AI platforms with retrieval and context quality knowledge.
• Experience integrating applications via APIs, webhooks, SDKs, data connections, or event-driven workflows.
• Experience managing identity, access, roles, permissions, and secure data operations in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, assess ambiguous problems, and deliver solution-focused results.
• Clear communication and ability to balance priorities while partnering across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior escalation point for enterprise applications and AI platforms.
• Configure, extend, and optimize applications, AI capabilities, and workflows.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, designs, and implementation plans.
• Lead application changes from evaluation through testing, release, and production readiness.
• Administer users, roles, permissions, and API credentials following least-privilege security.
• Monitor health, data quality, integrations, incidents; identify root causes and automate work.
• Document governance practices and mentor other administrators.
