Job summary

Appian Corporation is seeking a Lead Business Technology Engineer in McLean, VA, onsite. You will architect, optimize, and scale mission-critical platforms, guiding cross-functional teams and aligning GWS with security standards to support a global workforce.

You will lead design and management of Google Workspace tenants, drive AI tool adoption, and implement robust zero-trust controls while collaborating across Information Security and Networking teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 7+ years in desktop engineering or similar IT roles.
• Experience managing multiple complex Google Workspace tenants under regulatory frameworks (CMMC, FedRAMP).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage multiple Google Workspace tenants with FedRAMP and CMMC alignment.
• Serve as SME for GWS AI tools and optimize embedded AI features.
• Architect testing, piloting, and org-wide rollout strategies for new GWS features.
