The Tax Operations role focuses on U.S. payroll tax registrations, account maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant onboarding and ongoing tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising operations, ideally in a payroll or similar environment.
• Strong project management skills with cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll-related state tax registrations and account maintenance with federal and state tax agencies.
• Perform daily tax operations including tax filing, account setup, and issue resolution with government tax authorities.
• Provide feedback to internal teams and agencies to ensure accurate tax registrations and maintenance.
• Review and resolve inbound escalations related to tax issues (registration errors/challenges).
• Must have U.S. payroll experience to understand compliance in a PEO environment.
