Job summary

Jobot is seeking an outgoing, relationship-driven CPA to join our management team as a Remote Tax Manager, with path to partner potential. You will provide oversight and management of client engagements, prioritize workloads, supervise staff, and work independently to analyze complex tax matters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of recent tax experience in public accounting, CPA for Manager level, strong leadership, and a solid network of client contacts.

Qualifications

• CPA required for Manager level.
• Minimum of 5 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong team management skills and leadership ability.
• Proven networking and client development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage client engagements with path to partner.
• Establish workload priorities, organize jobs, and supervise staff.
• Consult with clients on a broad range of tax matters and grow the client base.
• Review returns for federal, foreign, and state/local taxes.
• Manage federal/state tax audits and research complex tax issues.
• Maintain a high level of professional and technical reputation.
