Job summary

Rinnai America Corporation is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide phone support for service, installation and troubleshooting of all Rinnai products. This remote role may require occasional onsite training at the Corporate Office in Peachtree City, GA.

The position offers a pay range of $28.50–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus best-in-class benefits. Preferred candidates have hydronic/plumbing or boiler experience and can handle flexible scheduling, including evenings

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven and demonstrated technical appliance repair experience.
• Background in electronics, plumbing systems, hydronics and/or boiler systems a plus.
• Associate degree in plumbing or electrical engineering preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support to answer inquiries on service, installation and troubleshooting.
• Follow through with repairs, rework, rebuilding and maintenance on products; document failure analyses.
• Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Service to understand features, specs and quality controls.
• Gather information on potential quality issues and help identify corrective actions.
• Maintain records of work orders, reports, returns and shipping requests with details of services performed.
• Maintain tools and equipment; adapt to evolving business needs.
