Job summary

Rinnai America Corporation is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide phone-based service, installation guidance and troubleshooting for all Rinnai products. You will document issues, assist in failure analysis, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering and Service teams to resolve complex problems.

Remote work with occasional onsite training may be required. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of appliance repair experience, a technical degree in plumbing or electrical engineering, and

Qualifications

• GETechnical Associate degree in plumbing or electrical engineering (or equivalent related professional experienc
• ed3-5 years of proven and demonstrated technical appliance repair experience. Background in electronics, plumbing systems, hydronics and/or boiler systems a plu
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; effective communication skills; ability to present to groups

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support to answer inquiries on service, installation and troubleshooting procedures for all Rinnai products
• Follow through with repairs, rework, rebuilding and/or maintenance on all products returned to Rinnai; document failure analysis
• Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Service staff to understand product features/quality controls standards
• Gather and document information on quality/performance issues; provide input on possible corrective actions
• Ensure records of work orders, quality control reports, failure analysis, RGA’s, credits, returns, shipping requests, etc.
