Job summary

Umanitek is seeking a Takedown Operations Specialist to own content removal efforts, working with technology and partners to protect clients from impersonation, scams and digital abuse.

You will conduct end-to-end investigations, collect evidence, and submit formal requests while prioritizing urgent cases and maintaining detailed records. Strong English writing and OSINT capability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Trust & Safety or online brand protection.
• Proven ability to assess sensitive content and generate formal reports.
• Familiarity with OSINT and digital investigations.
• Strong written English and case documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage content removal cases end to end with evidence collection and escalation.
• Investigate impersonation, scams, deepfakes, harassment and other threats.
• Evaluate removal strategies against platform policies and regulations.
• Prepare formal reports, complaints and appeals with supporting evidence.
• Prioritize urgent cases and maintain accurate records of outcomes.
• Collaborate with takedown providers, platform contacts and partners.
• Improve detection, classification and takedownability scoring.
• Work with engineering to test automated workflows and tooling.
