Job summary

IP House is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to support takedown requests, enforcement actions, and responses to law enforcement and privacy inquiries. You will help protect IP rights for brands and creators, working within the Legal Operations team to process requests and improve procedures.

You will collaborate with the Trust & Safety group, draft standard responses, and track outcomes while identifying opportunities to enhance policies and technology.

Qualifications

• Experience in intellectual property operations, trust & safety, or customer experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of legal documents.
• Analytical approach to data gathering and tracking success metrics.
• Strategic problem solving to improve IP policies, processes, and tooling.
• Comfort with reviewing sensitive or potentially disturbing content.
• Knowledge of DMCA and Trademark law, including fair use.
• Experience handling DMCA or Trademark takedown requests for content removal.
• Experience in law or policy within the Internet industry.

Responsibilities

• Process large volumes of copyright and trademark takedown requests and counter-notifications.
• Track content removed pursuant to valid takedown requests.
• Handle escalations related to unauthorized use of content.
• Collaborate with Trust & Safety on IP-related content moderation issues.
• Identify areas to improve IP policies, processes, and tooling.
• Draft response language to IP questions and issue types.
• Research industry standard practices for IP notice and takedown procedures.
• Support Legal Operations across law enforcement and privacy matters.
• Occasionally participate in exigent on-call rotation during working hours.
