Job summary

IP House is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to process takedown requests and support responses to law enforcement and privacy matters. The role reports to the Legal Operations Team Lead and focuses on IP enforcement across online and offline channels.

You will handle DMCA and Trademark notices, track removals, and collaborate with Trust & Safety to improve policies, tooling, and processes. This is a remote US position, offering growth within a global IP protection program.

Qualifications

• Experience working in intellectual property operations, trust and safety, or customer experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle a high volume of legal document intake and processing.
• Analytical approach to gathering and presenting data to inform decisions and the ongoing tracking of success metrics.
• Strategic problem solving when finding opportunities for improvement.
• Comfort with reviewing sensitive, explicit, and/or potentially disturbing content.
• Knowledge of DMCA and Trademark law, as well as fair use.
• Experience bringing or processing DMCA or Trademark requests for content removal
• Experience in law or policy within the Internet industry.

Responsibilities

• Process large volumes of copyright and trademark takedown requests and counter-notifications
• Track all content removed pursuant to valid takedown requests
• Handle escalations related to the unauthorized use of content
• Work with our Trust & Safety team on IP related content moderation issues
• Identify areas to improve IP policies, processes, and technical tooling
• Draft response language to common IP questions and issue types
• Research industry standard practices for IP notice and takedown procedures
• Support Legal Operations team as needed across law enforcement and privacy related matters
• Occasionally participate in exigent on-call rotation during working hours
