Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Tajiki (Tajik Persian) Over-the-Phone Interpreters to support our USCIS contract. This remote position offers real-time interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.

Native Tajiki and English fluency with 2+ years of immigration interpreting experience is required. You will work securely through USCIS-approved systems, with paid training and opportunities for career advancement. Confidentiality and security standards apply to all duties.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Tajiki (Tajik Persian) and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, asylum, government preferred).
• Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
• Strong communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Tajiki ︎ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
• Interpret with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism in immigration, asylum, and legal contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge interpretation needs.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.
