Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Montenegrin Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support a USCIS contract. This remote role requires native Montenegrin and English, with 2+ years of interpreting experience in immigration or related fields.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Montenegrin and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, healthcare, government preferred).
• Knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and professional standards.
• Strong telephone communication skills and ability to remain accurate under pressure.
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Montenegrin-to-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret accurately, neutrally, and professionally in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
• Adhere to USCIS/DHS confidentiality and interpreter ethics standards.
• Handle both scheduled and urgent/surge assignments.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.
