Job summary

Merchant Guild is seeking a Learning Content Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable educational content for publishers, retailers, event staff, and the broader tabletop industry. This hands-on role builds engaging digital learning experiences within the LMS, collaborating with internal teams and subject matter experts to turn game knowledge into repeatable, interactive content.

Qualifications

• Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or e-learning content creation.
• Familiarity with the tabletop/TCG industry and its certification/education norms.
• Strong writing skills across formats: scripts, guides, assessments.
• Ability to collaborate with publishers and internal SMEs lacking instructional design background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain e-learning courses, modules, videos, and assessments in the LMS.
• Translate SME game/product knowledge into learner‑friendly content.
• Write scripts, facilitator guides, and job aids for learning programs.
• Design learner paths for staff, retailers, judges, and publishers.
• Coordinate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and current standards.
