Job summary

AvatarFleet LLC is seeking a Systems & Security Engineer to own security administration, Linux system operations, and reliability across AWS-based infrastructure. The role collaborates with the CTO and engineering teams to ensure secure, compliant, and dependable delivery of our DriverHub platform.

You will manage EC2/ECS, WAF, ALB, S3, and storage, implement patching, monitoring, and incident response, and support CI/CD with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on Linux systems administration in production.
• Strong AWS administration skills, especially EC2 and Linux-hosted apps.
• Experience with SOC 2 Type II audits and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day security administration and infrastructure operations.
• Maintain patched and hardened systems with monitoring and backups.
• Support CI/CD configuration, deployment environments, and secure pipeline access.
