AvatarFleet LLC is seeking a Systems & Security Engineer to own security administration and infrastructure operations while collaborating with the CTO and software engineers. The role focuses on Linux systems, AWS services, CI/CD support, and SOC 2 Type II compliance to ensure uptime and secure delivery of our DriverHub platform.

You will work in a fully remote setting with a small, collaborative team, handling patching, mitigations, and security monitoring across production environments.

Formación

• At least 5 years of hands-on Linux systems administration in production environments.
• Strong AWS administration skills across EC2, ECS, IAM, networking, load balancing, storage, WAF, and monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 Type II audits and maintaining controls and evidence collection.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day security administration and coordinate SOC 2 Type II control execution and annual audit prep with CTO and control owners.
• Maintain patched and hardened systems, monitoring, backups, documented controls, and dependable deployment processes.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS resources (EC2, ECS, WAF, ALB, S3, EFS, IAM) and networking components.
• Administer Debian and Amazon Linux hosts, troubleshoot issues across OS, runtimes, containers, network, and storage.
• Maintain actionable infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and reliability; coordinate during production incidents.
