Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Implementation Consultant to configure Tyler software, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and ensure smooth client onboarding.

The role involves on-site or remote sessions, educating users on software functionality, data handling, and security, and delivering tailored implementations. Responsibilities include analyzing client workflows, documenting requirements, configuring modules, validating data, and preparing tests before go-live.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years’ experience as Associate Implementation Consultant.
• Excellent presentation and knowledge transfer skills.
• Tax and appraisal industry and/or product knowledge preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with computer systems and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and troubleshooting data issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical code including report logic, XML, HTML.
• Experience debugging complex error logs.
• Data mapping, validation, and conversion experience.
• Ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights.
• Strong cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, software readiness, and education to clients on Tyler products.
• Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on site or via remote Teams sessions.
• Educate users on software functionality, data entry, system administration, and security.
• Perform analysis of client business model to document requirements regarding Tyler products.
• Recommend new approaches to client workflows to optimize software solutions.
• Document business and technical requirements for software changes.
• Independently configure system modules and workflows per client requirements.
• Conduct data validation and conversion analysis with client coordination for corrections.
• Develop and execute client-specific test plans before go-live.
• Troubleshoot moderate complexity issues and coordinate resolutions with Support/Development.
• Create/modify reports to satisfy client needs; assist other teams as needed.
• Maintain client activity docs, trip reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
• Assist QA staff with product/testing as required.
• Notify management of issues impacting schedule/budget.
• Create client-facing and internal docs like quick tips and how-tos.
• Act as liaison between client and technical staff.
• May participate in User Conference and lead user group discussions.
• Analyze error logs to diagnose issues across SQL, XML, HTML.
• Investigate and resolve data issues within SQL, XML, HTML environments.
• Map and validate data conversions for accuracy.
• Conduct in-depth data analyses to identify root causes.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
