Job summary

Koniag Technology Solutions, inc, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Tester (QA Engineer) to support USDA-era platforms. This remote role requires ability to obtain a Public Trust and deliver both automated and manual testing across sprints.

Responsibilities include test planning, 90% automation coverage, accessibility and security testing, performance validation, and UAT support. Eligible candidates should have federal IT experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and achieving high test coverage.
• Experience on federal government IT projects preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA QASP or similar federal quality oversight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for each sprint.
• Verify minimum 90% automated test code coverage for all delivered code.
• Conduct accessibility testing to meet WCAG 2.1 and 508 standards.
• Perform security testing using OWASP ZAP, Snyk, npm audit, etc.
