Job summary

The Associate SysOps Engineer at OneStream Software supports the operations and high availability of customer environments, including provisioning, maintaining, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery support. This role also helps field technical escalations from customer support.

In this role, you are expected to help prioritize uptime, security, and performance of the customer environments over other activities, while building the skills to take on more responsibility over time.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Up to 1 year of cloud operations or infrastructure experience.
• Foundational understanding of computer systems, networks, etc.
• Basic knowledge of IT compliance and policy development.
• Exposure to Azure, Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server; scripting basics (PowerShell).
• Identity management concepts with Azure Entra ID, Okta, OpenID Connect, SAML.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environment implementation and configuration toward lead-time targets.
• Support SLA, cost, and automation targets.
• Perform updates, migrations, and upgrades under guidance.
• Monitor environments using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Respond to alerts and escalate incidents as needed.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotation and post-incident reviews.
• Support Azure FinOps and cost optimization.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
