Job summary

OneStream Software is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to protect and advance the security of its cloud environment, including Azure and Microsoft 365. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate security controls, monitoring, and incident response in a fast-paced SaaS setting.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years securing cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Experience with Azure security principles, configurations, threat detection and response.
• Experience deploying and using Defender, SIEM, CASB and vulnerability management tools.
• Familiarity with Azure Log Analytics, KQL, PowerShell, Bash and REST APIs.
• IAM concepts including Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC, with least-privilege access.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls and baselines across Azure and M365.
• Configure and optimize cloud security solutions (Defender family) and related technologies.
• Assess cloud resources, AKS and containers for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Lead vulnerability management, remediation coordination, and verification.
• Enhance monitoring and detection using SIEM, KQL, and automation.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Compliance, and internal teams to align with CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIGs.
• Respond to security inquiries and perform evidence gathering for audits.
