Job summary

OneStream Software is seeking a SysOps Engineer to ensure high availability of customer environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and disaster recovery. You will balance uptime with security and performance, working independently and as part of a global team across time zones.

The role requires weekend shifts (Fri-Mon 7am-6pm ET) to cover our global customer base and deliver reliable service. Strong automation, cloud, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years cloud operations and infrastructure engineering experience.
• AZ-104 Azure Administrator or equivalent Azure competency.
• Experience managing patching and patch management across Azure environments.
• Experience supporting government cloud environments or government-sector clients.
• Experience with cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Windows Server 2022, IIS, SQL Server.
• Automating with PowerShell, REST APIs, Terraform or ARM Templates.
• Orchestration tools: Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible, Kubernetes platforms, Azure Pipelines.
• Identity management: Azure Entra ID, Okta, OpenID Connect, SAML.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and evaluating generated outputs.
• Familiarity with high-availability architectures, load balancing, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer environment implementation and software configuration within 24 hours lead time.
• Drive operational outcomes aligned to SLA, cost, and automation targets.
• Perform environment updates, migrations, and software upgrades.
• Monitor environments with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics and proactive alerts.
• Own day-to-day service reliability against SLOs and incident response.
• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Participate in on-call rotation and perform root cause analysis post-incident.
• Communicate clearly during incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Identify cost-optimization opportunities in Azure for FinOps goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support.
