Job summary

OneStream is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Information Security team, focusing on securing our Azure-based cloud environment and safeguarding customer data. You will design, implement, and operate security controls across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, perform vulnerability management, and drive threat detection and incident response.

You will collaborate with Cloud, Compliance, and IT teams to align security with CIS benchmarks, DISA STIGs, and industry standards, while

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience securing cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks in cloud environments.
• Experience applying cloud security principles to secure Azure, including secure config, least privilege, data protection, threat detection and response.
• Experience deploying, administering, and using security tools like Defender, SIEM, CASB, vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve security controls across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Configure, administer, and optimize cloud security solutions (Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, CASB).
• Conduct security assessments of cloud resources, AKS, and container workloads to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Lead vulnerability management: prioritize findings, coordinate remediation, validate actions.
• Enhance cloud security monitoring and threat detection using Microsoft Sentinel and KQL.
