Qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience.
• Native Swedish speaker with excellent English.
• MTPE experience required.
• Experience with Translation Memories and TMS.
• Familiar with IT/Software localization and software UI/documentation translation.
• Able to work remotely on project-based freelance basis.

Responsibilities

• Post-edit MT outputs to client specifications.
• Ensure the target text accurately reflects the source meaning.
• Provide corrections and text optimization based on MT output.
• Follow post-editing guidelines and quality standards for client expectations.
• Perform linguistic tasks using references (TM, glossary, style guides).
• Ensure high grammatical accuracy while maintaining terminology and cultural references.
• Format and tagging as per guidelines and project needs.
