Job summary

STERIS is seeking a field service professional to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sterilization equipment across hospitals. You will prioritize service requests, perform installations, and coordinate field upgrades with cross-functional teams.

A strong customer focus and teamwork are essential to support compliant documentation and customer satisfaction. The role includes travel within the assigned region, a company-provided vehicle, and ongoing hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 4+ years of work experience, including 2+ years in a mechanical/technical capacity.
• Associate’s degree or relevant certifications may count toward the technical requirement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain STERIS and competitor devices in surgical and sterile processing environments.
• Independently prioritize PMs, service/warranty calls, installations, and field upgrades across territory to meet commitments.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Engineering, and Service Contract Management to escalate issues and complete required documentation; present findings and pricing to customers.
