The field service position requires Steris device experience and travel to Memorial Hermann facilities in the greater Houston area, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with clinical biomedical equipment (sterilization devices) in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Technical degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with electromechanical and computerized biomedical devices.
• Must have significant Steris sterilization device experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair sterile processing related equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and hospital standards.
• Repair steam sterilizers, steam generators, cart washers, cart decontamination systems and ultrasonic cleaning systems.
• Achieve KPI targets while maintaining departmental standards and goals.
• Support BMET teammates and the Supervisor/Manager on-site as needed.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, and electrical safety on sterilization equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records in the RenovoLive CMMS.
• Travel between Memorial Hermann facilities in the greater Houston area.
