Job summary

Steris is seeking a Specialty Services Technician to serve customers in the field, providing on-site cleaning and basic maintenance of sterilizer equipment. You will communicate proactively with customers, plan routes, and ensure service standards are met.

The role requires up to 50% overnight travel, flexibility with shifts including weekends, and use of company gear for reporting. A strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of work experience, at least 1 year technical or service-related.
• Associates degree or related certifications may be considered towards minimum years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to customers and communicate proactively about service needs and updates.
• Perform sterilizer cleaning functions, adjust chemicals, monitor processes and maintain equipment.
• Plan efficient service routes with Scheduling Team and travel within territory, including overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot and escalate equipment issues and maintain documentation using company software.
