Job summary

Renovo Solutions is seeking a Medical Sterilizer Specialist to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, inspections, and calibrations on medical sterilizer devices in the Houston area. You will ensure safety and functionality across facilities, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and documentation.

The role requires hands-on Steris experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to communicate clearly with clinical and facility staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with clinical biomedical equipment (specifically sterilization devices) in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Proficiency with electromechanical and computerized biomedical devices.
• Basic knowledge of sterilization plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair sterile processing related equipment in line with manufacturer specs and hospital standards.
• Repair sterilizers, steam generators, cart washers, decontamination systems, and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Achieve KPI targets while maintaining departmental standards and goals.
• Support on-site BMET teammates and the Supervisor/Manager as needed.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, and electrical safety on sterilization equipment.
