Job summary

Integrative Emergency Services, LLC is seeking a certified Medical Coding Specialist with a focus on surgical services. You will code CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes based on thorough chart reviews and ensure medical necessity and payer compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; professional coding certification required.
• Minimum five (5) years of professional medical coding experience, with strong surgical coding.
• Active coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA (CGSC, CASCC, CCVTC, CPMA or similar) required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes for professional surgical services.
• Review records for completeness, accuracy, and support of medical necessity.
• Ensure coding compliance with CMS, commercial payers, and regulatory guidelines.
