Responsibilities

• Ensure coding compliance with CMS and payers.
• Identify undercoding, overcoding, and modifier issues.
• Apply correct modifiers and payer selection.
• Audit coding accuracy via reports and focused reviews.
• Analyze denials and advise corrective actions.
• Stay current on coding updates and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation.
