Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is hiring a Coding professional to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for patients across multiple specialties. You’ll ensure accurate modifiers for optimal reimbursement and high-quality data, while staying current with coding guidelines.

Required CPC with 2+ years surgical coding experience; COSC/CIRCC preferred. A high school diploma or GED is needed; remote states are approved to support flexible work options. Cedars-Sinai offers health benefits, PTO and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.
• COSC certification preferred.
• CIRCC certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing ICD-10 and CPT coding in a health care setting.
• Experience with orthopedic/spine/multispecialty coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for patients.
• Apply modifiers to ensure accurate reimbursement and data quality.
• Follow coding guidelines for multi-specialty practices.
• Attend seminars for updates on coding rules and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient care and business matters.
