Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Engagement Leader to collaborate with commodity leaders and fulfillment teams to optimize supply base strategies and capabilities.

You will drive supplier performance, scalability, and Lean-driven improvements across MSD, BOP, and HRSG value streams in HDNU projects. You will lead initiatives with cross-functional teams, focusing on problem solving, capacity planning, and inventory management, while coaching sourcing staff in Lean methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma/Equivalent with 10 years of experience in Supply Chain.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations or Project Management in Power Generation or EPC companies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commodity leaders to execute supply strategy.
• Partner with suppliers to improve delivery performance for physical products and supporting documentation.
• Establish daily management processes to support communication of project execution status and risks.
• Extend lean thinking and execution to suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional teams identifying systemic causes of delivery delays and implementing long term improvement actions.
• Provide technical expertise in areas such as process development, capacity planning, inventory requirements and operational management within a project based environment
• Coach, train and mentor sourcing organization members on Lean Manufacturing fundamentals and principles.
