Job summary

UFW Foundation seeks a Supervising Attorney for the new Workers' Rights program in California. You will help build the team, shape the playbook, and manage/docket cases across wage theft, retaliation, and related claims.

The role requires an active CA bar, 3+ years in workers' rights, bilingual Spanish/English, and ability to travel regionally. Remote work is offered with some onsite obligations and community events as needed.

Qualifications

• Active California bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of workers' rights experience (5 years preferred).
• Functional bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English for client intake and explaining options.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a docket of cases including individual actions, class actions, and amicus briefs.
• Design and operationalize protocols for a legal services program that doesn't exist yet.
• Supervise and mentor a regional team of attorneys, assistants, and fellows.
