Job summary

UFW Foundation is seeking a Supervising Attorney, Immigration to lead a regional team handling affirmative relief and removal defense. You will supervise attorneys, reviewed filings, and develop strategies to support families and individuals through USCIS and EOIR processes.

The role requires 3+ years of immigration practice, a U.S. law license, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, plus strong Spanish-English communication. Remote/hybrid work with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing immigration law, including direct representation before USCIS, EOIR, or California state courts.
• Licensed attorney in good standing in any U.S. state, or a J.D. with bar results pending (California bar preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience supervising, mentoring, or formally training attorneys, accredited representatives, or legal staff.
• Functional bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, sufficient to conduct client intake or explain legal options without an interpreter.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access for regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Direct Legal Services & Casework: Manage an active caseload across affirmative relief and removal defense; represent adults, families, and children before courts; conduct client intake and file pleadings; deliver Know Your Rights presentations.
