The Haskell Company is seeking a Substation Project Manager (Engineering) to lead the design and execution of substation projects for utilities, renewables, data centers, and large industrial clients. You will drive teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality.

This senior role requires a ABET degree, PE license, PMP preferred, and 10+ years in HV substation design and project management (69kV–500kV). Travel up to 20% and close collaboration with clients and internal groups.

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• PE license required or obtainable within a defined time frame.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in substation design, engineering, and project management (69kV–500kV).

Aufgaben

• Lead planning, design, procurement, and delivery of substation projects from initiation to completion.
• Supervise and mentor engineers, designers, and drafters to meet milestones and quality standards.
• Oversee protection, layouts, and control schemes for transmission/substations in compliance with standards.
• Serve as primary client contact, providing technical updates and resolving issues.
• Ensure design documentation accuracy and adherence to codes and internal procedures.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Continuously improve project processes to meet budgets and schedules.
• Prepare and review project close-out documentation, including as-builts.
