Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Supervisor for our Tulsa, OK area to lead a substation engineering group and manage budgets, schedules, and customer deliverables. This remote-friendly, permanent role requires strong leadership and extensive experience in protection and control projects.

You will mentor leads and engineers, drive cross-functional processes with customers, prepare technical performance reports, and ensure timely project execution while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience engineering and managing electric substation protection and control systems projects
• 4+ years of experience leading or supervising a technical design or engineering team
• Professional Engineering license, or the ability and willingness to obtain a PE license within an agreed timeframe

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within Substation Engineering and leads
• Establish, monitor, and maintain quality control standards for design services and products
• Monitor and maintain budgets and schedules for all projects and workflows
• Develop and review scopes and provide cost estimates
• Directly manage Leads and individual contributors in department
• Interface with customer to drive efficient workflow and resolve issues
• Prepare written technical performance reports and present project status to management
