ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Substation Engineering Manager to recruit, mentor, and lead a high‑performance team in delivering HV substation projects.

You will cultivate client relationships, drive strategic growth, and ensure on‑time, high‑quality deliverables across multiple locations and remote teams. You will oversee project execution, budgeting, and technical excellence while expanding ENERCON's market presence through proposals and strong client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; year-for-year substitution allowed
• Electric Utility experience in the substation function required
• 3+ years of High Voltage (69 KV+) substation design/analysis; leadership: 1 year for Associate Manager or 2 years for Manager
• PE license preferred
• Leadership and entrepreneurial background to grow a team and footprint
• Ability to read/interpret engineering and design plans for substation projects
• Understanding of NESC/NEC and electrical codes in power systems
• Willingness to travel 20–25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Lead teams locally and remotely to deliver substation projects and proposals
• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring deliverables meet/exceed expectations
• Oversee project execution, quality checks on designs, and adherence to budget/schedule
• Develop budgets, scope definitions, and proposals for RFPs
• Plan budgets and resource management; report on business performance
• Support strategic growth, market engagement, and client development activities
• Represent ENERCON in conferences, technical committees, and industry forums
