Job summary

ENERCON's Power Delivery Group seeks a Substation Engineering Manager in the United States to recruit, mentor, and lead top technical talent while driving growth and project delivery. You will manage client relationships, guide proposals, and ensure high-quality outcomes across diverse locations.

The role offers leadership across business development and technical excellence, with 20–25% travel and potential remote work. PE preferred and HV substation experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Electric Utility experience in the substation function required.
• 3+ years of High Voltage (69 KV+) substation design/analysis; leadership for Associate Manager; or 6+ years with leadership for Manager level.
• PE preferred.
• Ability to travel 20-25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, and mentor local and remote technical staff in the Substation organization.
• Build and maintain client relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Lead projects/proposal development for substation projects and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Develop plans for budgets/resources and submit regular business performance reports.
• Support strategic growth, marketing, and client engagement efforts.
