Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Substation Engineering Manager in the United States to lead a high-performing team across multiple locations. You will recruit, mentor, and manage engineers, while driving client relationships and strategic growth for power delivery projects.

You’ll oversee proposal development, ensure quality and on-time delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Some travel is required as projects span across states and remote opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Electric Utility experience in substation function required.
• PE license required.
• Leadership experience: 2+ years at Associate level or 6+ years at Manager level.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/design plans for substation projects.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to deliver substation projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage client relationships and project proposals.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across disciplines.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
• Support strategic growth, marketing, and client engagement efforts.
• Travel 20–25% as needed.
