Powerserve Technologies is seeking a Substation Design Engineer (Civil/Structural) to focus on civil and structural designs for electrical substations in Florida, working with electrical engineers and project teams to deliver complete, constructible designs.

The role offers remote work within Florida, standard M-F schedule, and opportunities to support field construction and client projects with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and long-term performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of civil/structural design experience.
• Experience with EPC or utility projects preferred.
• PE license preferred or willing to obtain within 2-3 years.

Responsibilities

• Design civil and structural components of substations.
• Prepare foundation designs, structural layouts, and site plans.
• Perform code compliance reviews and analyses.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide occasional field support within Florida.
